Prohibited Items or Special Handling

To ensure a safe and smooth shipping experience, it's crucial to be aware of items that are restricted or prohibited for transport.

This list will help you identify items you cannot send, but remember that each destination country may have their additional regulations.

List of Most Common Forbidden Items:

  • Precious metals in bar form
  • Cash, banknotes, and traveler's checks
  • Counterfeit goods infringing on intellectual property rights (IPR)
  • Furs
  • Human remains or ashes in any form
  • Hunting trophies (animals), animal parts such as ivory and shark fins, animal remains or by-products not intended for human consumption, prohibited by CITES Convention and/or local laws
  • Illegal goods such as narcotics
  • Live animals (including mammals, reptiles, fish, invertebrates, amphibians, birds, insects, larvae, and pupae)
  • Loose gemstones and precious stones (cut or uncut, polished or unpolished)
  • Power banks
  • Damaged or defective batteries
  • Alcohol for EU countries (allowed only with proper documentation for shipments under tax suspension regime)
  • Antiques, works of art, and fine arts valued per shipment over $500,000 US$
  • Revenue stamps (typically used on cigarettes or alcohol) valued over $500,000 US$
  • Commemorative coins and medals valued individually or collectively over $2,000 US$
  • Costume jewelry, watches, and objects made of precious metals and/or gemstones valued over $5,000 US$ per item or $100,000 US$ per shipment
  • Complete firearms, ammunition, explosives/explosive devices, compressed air weapons, firearm replicas, firearm parts (shotgun barrels, trigger mechanisms, screws, etc.)
  • Financial and monetary products valued over $500,000 US$ (including activated SIM cards for mobile phones, credit cards, blank checks, gift vouchers, event tickets, lottery tickets, etc.)

By knowing the forbidden items and the specific restrictions of each destination country, you can avoid delays, inconveniences, and potential legal sanctions.
